...our spring at the top camp - not large but fresh and pure. We used the technique they adopted in many of the village water supplies along the track - find water seeping down the rock, then puddle it with clay to divert the flow to one place, then channel it into a split piece of hollow stem to collect it. This would fill a gallon in about 5 mins. After the thirteen mile and 7000ft accent to the top in over 40c this was the best tasting stuff on earth !
